1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using QR-Forge ("Service"), operated by QR-Forge ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use our Service. These Terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered users, and paying subscribers.

2. Description of Service

QR-Forge is a web-based platform that provides QR code generation and management services, including:

  • QR code generation for URLs, text, contact information, and other data types
  • Custom styling and branding options
  • Analytics and tracking capabilities
  • Bulk generation tools
  • Account management and storage

We offer both free and paid subscription plans with different feature sets and usage limits.

3. User Accounts and Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of unauthorized use
  • Ensuring your account information remains accurate and up-to-date

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you must have parental consent to use our services.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use QR-Forge only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You will NOT:

5. Subscription Plans and Payment

Free Plan:

  • Limited to 10 QR codes per month
  • Basic QR code types (URL, Text, Email, Phone, SMS)
  • Standard features with QR-Forge branding

Pro Plan ($6/month):

  • Unlimited QR code generation
  • 25+ QR code types and advanced features
  • Custom branding and styling options
  • Analytics and tracking
  • Bulk generation capabilities
  • Priority customer support

Payment Terms:

  • Subscriptions automatically renew monthly
  • Payment is due in advance for each billing period
  • Prices may change with 30 days notice
  • Failed payments may result in service suspension
  • You can cancel anytime from your account settings
6. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation:

  • You can cancel your subscription anytime from your account settings
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • You'll continue to have Pro access until the end of your paid period
  • No refunds for partial billing periods unless required by law
7. Intellectual Property Rights

Our Rights:

QR-Forge, including its software, design, text, graphics, and other content, is owned by QR-Forge and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

Your Content:

You retain ownership of content you create using QR-Forge. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to provide our services. You are responsible for ensuring you have rights to use any content in your QR codes.

Generated QR Codes:

QR codes generated using QR-Forge are yours to use, subject to these Terms. However, you may not use our service to create QR codes that infringe on others' intellectual property rights.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

  • We collect only necessary information to provide our services
  • We do not sell your personal data to third parties
  • You can delete your account and data at any time
  • We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data
  • Analytics data is aggregated and anonymized
9. Disclaimers and Limitations

Service Availability:

While we strive for 99.9% uptime, QR-Forge is provided "as is" without warranties. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access and may perform maintenance that temporarily affects service availability.

Limitation of Liability:

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QR-Forge shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

User Responsibility:

You are solely responsible for your use of QR codes and any consequences thereof. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or legality of QR codes created using our service.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access immediately for violations of these Terms or for any reason with notice.

Effect of Termination:

  • Your right to use QR-Forge immediately ceases
  • We may delete your account and data after 30 days
  • You remain responsible for any outstanding payments
  • Previously generated QR codes will continue to function
11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration except for small claims court actions.

Dispute Resolution:

  1. Contact us at qrforge.app@gmail.com to resolve disputes informally
  2. If informal resolution fails, disputes will be settled by binding arbitration
  3. You may opt-out of arbitration within 30 days of accepting these Terms
12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes via email or through our service at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of QR-Forge after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
